Dragon Fruit Ice Cream

A dazzling scoop of delicious dragon fruit ice cream

 

A magenta pink scoop of dragon ice cream is a must for any Halloween party.

 


The perfect colour combo for Halloween. Magenta Pink. Pumpkin Orange. Midnight Black

Ingredients

 
  • Coconut cream 1000ml

  • 3 Ripe bananas

  • Sieved icing sugar 180g

  • Zest of a sweet & organic orange

  • A generous squeeze of fresh lemon juice

  • A ripe red dragon fruit


 

Mix & Freeze

 

Whizz up the

  • Coconut cream

  • Bananas

  • Sieved icing sugar

  • Orange zest

  • Fresh lemon juice

until the mixture is smooth & creamy. Taste & add more sugar or zest or lemon juice if you wish.

 

The dragon fruit is also known as a pitaya. The little black seeds add a gentle nutty crunch. Dragons only flower in moonlight & are pollinated by swooping bats & fluttery moths. Ooooo soooo beautifully Halloween!

 

Cut your dragon fruit in half

  • Scoop out the flesh into a bowl

  • Gently squeeze & squish the fruit by hand

  • Try not to crush the little black dragon seeds

  • Stir into your smooth & creamy mix

  • Freeze for 4 hours

 

Topping & Decorating

 

A scattering of orange zest makes the magenta scoops really ping.

Little white translucent agar jellies make them magical.
